Jubilee of Governors

The Jubilee of Governors is an event of particular significance in the context of the Jubilee of Mercy proclaimed by Pope Francis in 2015. This special moment is dedicated to governors and political leaders, invited to reflect on their role and responsibility in serving the common good.

During the Jubilee of Governors, meetings, conferences, and prayer sessions on topics of political ethics, social justice, and promotion of the common good are organized. These activities offer governors the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the human and spiritual values that should guide their political actions.

This event is also an opportunity for governors to renew their commitment to justice, fairness, and respect for human rights in public administration. It is a moment of conversion and discernment, during which efforts are made to promote a culture of solidarity and cooperation among peoples and nations.

The Jubilee of Governors testifies to the importance of the spiritual dimension in the political decision-making process and the role of faith in shaping a more just and fraternal society. Through this event, the Church invites governors to recognize the value of their mission in serving the common good and to act with humility and dedication for the good of all.
