Jubilee of Children

The Jubilee of Children is a special event within the context of the Jubilee of Mercy proclaimed by Pope Francis in 2015. This unique moment is dedicated to the youngest members of the ecclesiastical community, offering them the opportunity to experience the joy of faith in a special and meaningful way.

During the Jubilee of Children, a series of playful, educational, and spiritual activities tailored specifically for children are organized. These include games, creative workshops, age-appropriate catechesis, liturgical celebrations, and prayer times, all aimed at engaging children in the life of the Church and nurturing their relationship with God.

The event of the Jubilee of Children is characterized by a festive atmosphere of joy and fun, where the youngest ones can freely express their creativity and spontaneity. It’s an opportunity for them to discover the values of the Gospel in a joyful and welcoming environment, guided by the love and mercy of God.

This special moment testifies to the importance the Church places on children within the ecclesiastical community and in spiritual life. Through the Jubilee of Children, the Church commits to nurturing the faith of the youngest members and accompanying them on their journey of spiritual growth and Christian formation.

Additionally, the Jubilee of Children provides an opportunity to involve families and communities in the care and education of children in faith. It’s a moment of sharing and communion among parents, educators, and children, who together pledge to live out the Gospel values in daily life.
